the idea of using another client sounds interesting. Thanks for pointing that out.
If I am not mistaken the third option you mentioned would mean to do the trick in the backend and the service in DEV is different from the one in Quality system? I agree - that could be a tricky thing. I do not think that I will do that.
In the meantime I had another idea. Just use other users on both systems. It is only a small team of devleopers and testers and no dependency to other systems. According to my understanding we can have two two different system alias in Gateway for same service. User authorization can be used to select the target system per user.
