           As per my idea I have a solution to your issue,

                    onetime you created one group asset under one depreciation area for the same depreciation area you can not able to create individual asset.

so need to deactivate depreciation area in OAYM Tcode to deactivate this one what ever the group asset you create under that depreciation area need to delete if no entries are posted, in case you post the entries need to deactivate the asset by retirement of asset.

then you can deactivate the depreciation area in OAYM TCODE.
